moving away from phones
the compulsion to look at one’s phone can have deeply embedded neural pathways. in this workshop for people ages 14 and over , we explore embodied strategies to “re-wire” ourselves deeper into the present, living moment and why we will not be able to achieve positive individual and collective goals while tethered to our phones.

skills and experience offered:

> examine the effects of texting on one’s posture and anatomy
> develop concentration and deeper capacity to focus on tasks
> introduction to self directed and intuitive movement
> embodied warm up and cool downs for everyday use
