the decolonial name for “middle eastern”
in these gentle workshops, we move with moving images of nature to reconnect with ourselves in a culturally aware and trauma informed enviornment that holds space for all feelings, from grief to joy, pleasure, pain and in between.

3pm Sunday, April 26, 2026motherhood and mothering are sets of activities which often take place without a witness.
at this time, we make space to witness ourselves, our world, our lives and feelings in all their complexity.
skills and experience offered
> introduction to intuitive movement
> quiet, slow and embodied time in a trauma informed, culturally aware environment,
deeply sensitive to what it means to be swana, for a very long time now.
> gentle, kind, time to be without taking care of anyone else
> self directed, embodied support without goals or conditions
> reflective writing and drawing techniques
duration: 3 hours cost: pay as you wish. workshops are usually $150. this spring, $20 is required to hold one’s space in the studio.
